      On Jun. 9th, Lu Zhiqiang, the former Deputy Director of the Development Research Center under the State Council and the director of the China Enterprise Evaluation Association, took a tour of investigation to Zonda new energy buses, accompanied by the director of the Auto Office under the Yancheng Mucicipal Government . President Xu Liankuan and Vice-President Ma Xian, etc. of Zonda Group gave a warm reception.



      With the convocation of Copenhagen Climate Change Conference, the global call for “energy saving and greenhouse gas reduction” is increasingly stronger. A series of measures relatied to new energy industry have also been taken by the Chinese government as a strong support to advance the industry development As an enterprise citizen with social responsibility, Zonda Group is fully devoted to the design, R&D and industrialization progress. At the production base of Zonda new energy buses, Xu Liankuan introduced the charateristic and performance of Zonda new energy battery and stirring, forming, coating and welding, etc. of the production line of  new energy battery. At present, new type battery of the third generation, charaterised by long continuous travel mileage, low energy consumption and long times of complete charge&discharge. is applied in Zonda pure electric buses. Xu Liankuan also expressed that with the first production line of Zonda bus battery put into use at the end of this month, the production capacity of pure electric buses will reach 1,000 units, which will make Zonda achieve the advanced level within in the same industry in China.

      The Director Lu Zhiqiang visited the production base of Zonda Bus, listened to the introduction of Zonda new energy buses by Xu Liankuan with interest and took Zonda new energy buses with gusto. The Director spoke very highly of the Zonda pure electric buses, charaterised by convenience, quickness, environmental-friendliness and comfort. He aslo fully recognized the achievements made by Zonda Group in this field and hope Zonda Group could futher speed up the industrialization progress of new energy buses. Zonda Group is expected to continue to achieve innovative and steady R&D results, quicken the step to increase the industrialization scale of battery and complete buses and make great efforts to make a breakthrough in the development of new energy industry.
