On the afternoon of July 5, Zhao Peng, Secretary of Yancheng City and Director of Yancheng People's Congress Standing Committee, Ding Yu, Committee Member of Yancheng Municipal Party, Secretary of Politics and Law Committee and Secretary of Development Zone Party Working Committee came to Zonda manufacture base to investigate the industrialization process of the new energy bus. They were accompanied by President of Zonda Group Xu Liankuan, Vice President Ma Xian, etc.

      Secretary Zhao and other leaders visited Zonda new energy Li-ion battery production line and the research centre of new energy bus. President Xu gave leaders an introduction of the performances, specifications of Zonda new energy battery, and the technology on the battery production line including mixing, forming, coating, welding and other processes. President Xu also introduced the industrialization progress and market situation of Zonda new energy buses. Recently, Zonda Bus Group successfully gained a 50 batch order from Tianjin Transportation Group, the 50 pure electrical buses will serve the 2010 International Economic Forum Summer Davos in Tianjin.

 

      Secretary Zhao highly praised the achievements Zonda Group had reached in the new energy bus project. He hoped that Zonda Group could continue focusing on technology innovation, accelerate the instruction of new energy producing base, realize the industrialization of new energy bus as soon as possible. He also hoped Zonda Bus Group could seize chances and increase market share of Zonda new energy bus to make more contributions to the economy of the whole city.
