Yuanming Zhao, the Commercial Counselor of Korea embassies stationed in China, visited Zonda Group in the recent days. The Group Vice President Qimin Chen and the person(s) in charge of the Department of Bus Industry escorted his visit to Zonda bus manufacture base. The Group President Liankuan Xu met Mr. Yuanming Zhao and his followers in the group headquarter. Assistant President Jun Ye and the other group leader escorted the meeting.

President Liankuan Xu introduced the development history and present situation of Zonda Group. As the rising star in the domestic bus industry, Zonda Group is keeping the fast and stable growth in the resent years; the export business has become the new growth point for the Zonda Group. Since 2006, Zonda Group has realized the high growth in the international market. The sales amount in the first half increased by 98% and the export amount increased by 236% on a year-on-year basis, it successfully exported the products to Algeria, Cameroon, Russia and U.S.A. etc., and established long-term cooperation with more than 30 countries.

Mr. Yuanming Zhao was highly complimentary about the advanced technology and quality of Zonda Group, and complimented Zonda’s achievement in the recent years. Zhao said, Korea has used more than 200 units of Zonda Jinling double deck buses in Pyongyang, and the Korea people love the buses for their excellent performance and novel appearance. The visit to China focuses on not only another order for purchase buses in bulk, but hope for the joint venture of CKD bus assembly factory in Korea, and long-term stable partnership with Zonda Group. The two parties could focus on the market development in Korea and Far East, and make contribution to the economic and trade development for the two countries.

President Liankuan Xu said, after communicating with the Korea guests, Zonda Group will help to performance actively for the project of joint venture of CKD bus assembly factory in Korea, and send the relative personnel to Korea for further discuss. The successful cooperation for the project could further improve Zonda Group’s influence in Korea market.
